Emma Woodhouse: Despicable? or Lovable?

Let’s have a debate, shall we? Is Emma Woodhouse, Jane Austen’s controversial character, lovable or hatable? I’ll start the dialogue. I think she is a flawed but not malicious character who is willing and able to grow. I love how she changed throughout the book and shows promise of changing even more after!
